Idle Tours offer accompanied bicycle rides for visitors keen to explore the beautiful lush countryside around Galle, Sri Lanka.
We bicycle along peaceful paths meandering past lush green paddy fields, electric blue kingfishers, mangrove lagoons, tea plantations, spice gardens, tropical flowers and temples and through village life with smiles and vibrant views; it is nature and natural living at its finest.
We can cater for groups of up to 8 (more if given a little notice) and offer bespoke tours depending on your wishes. Rides can range from a smooth and gentle cruise of an hour or two with stops for refreshments up to a challenging all day ride from high in the tea hills right down to the beach with lunch and celebratory sunset cocktails included.
All our bicycles are lightweight mountain bikes fitted with the latest parts and are suitable for all adults and for children over 12 years of age. Our guides are experienced and for longer rides there is an accompanying tuk tuk carrying cool box and tool box and with enough room for your bits and bobs.
Prices start from 2,000 rps per rider.
